Beyond The Deck
This project, which we’ve titled Beyond the Deck, showcases the transformation of a previously overlooked backyard into a refined outdoor living environment. The homeowners originally believed the space behind their existing deck could not be touched because it fell within a golf course easement. Our design team revealed that not only could this space be developed, but it could also be transformed into a stunning destination that enhanced daily enjoyment and significantly increased the property’s value.
The design includes a pool, integrated spa, elegant stonework, fire features, and carefully curated plantings that soften the transition to the neighboring golf course while maintaining privacy. One of the most distinctive technical achievements is the concealed pool autocover vault, seamlessly hidden within the retaining wall, allowing the pool deck to flow uninterrupted.
This outdoor living space now serves as a multi-functional retreat — perfect for entertaining, relaxing with family, and enjoying serene views of the golf course. The project stands as a testament to creative problem-solving, refined craftsmanship, and design ingenuity that unlocks the full potential of the site while meeting the client’s desire for both enjoyment and increased home value.
The Entertainers Retreat
This project reimagined the grounds of a newly built Mashpee residence as a complete outdoor living retreat. The design is centered on the home’s back entrance — the architectural focal point from inside the house — creating a seamless connection between interior and exterior spaces. From the moment you step out, the view carries across a resort-style pool and spa, framed by granite patios, an outdoor kitchen, a custom fireplace, and a pool house beyond.
Layered plantings and dramatic lighting soften the masonry and extend seasonal interest, while coordinated furnishings make the space livable and inviting. The result is a multifunctional landscape that not only delivers stunning views from inside the new home but also supports entertaining, relaxation, and recreation for all generations of the client’s family and their guests.
New Seabury Hills
This project involved a full renovation of the front landscape at a residence in New Seabury. The scope included the removal of overgrown plantings, construction of extensive stone walls and stairways, installation of a comprehensive drainage system, new plantings, and low-voltage landscape lighting. The result is a striking, structurally sound, and elegant entry sequence that elevates the character of the property.
Granite and Greenery
This project transformed a newly built residence into a refined outdoor living environment with a distinctly formal feel. The design balances strong masonry elements with lush planting to create a cohesive estate-like atmosphere. At its heart lies a sleek granite pool terrace with integrated outdoor kitchen, lounge, and dining spaces, all framed by evergreen screening and colorful seasonal plantings. The layout ensures both functionality and elegance, with carefully aligned sightlines from the house across the pool and through the gardens, delivering a seamless inside–outside connection.
